Bettina started her studies in Germany, qualifying in 1983 following a two year apprenticeship in the drugstore business she went onto to study cosmetics at the Dr. Med. Christine B. Schrammek School in Essen. She then extended her studies to complete a course in Dermatologic Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology with Dr. Med. Fitzgerald/Ingram and Dr. Med. Badmajeff.
In 1985, Bettina relocated from Germany to Spain where she began practicing as a beautician and massage therapist; expanding her knowledge in plant essences which she started to use for the natural management of skincare and wellbeing. She also gained expertise in Aromatherapy using essential oils and Bach flower remedies.
Her career spanned 15 years working for multi-national beauty enterprises and luxury hotel groups rising to the post of senior therapist when she decided to start her own practice in Mallorca. Bettina, who is tri-lingual speaking German, English and Spanish, has put down her roots in the idyllic mountain village of Alarò located in the centre of Mallorca and approximately 25 minutes’ drive from Palma centre, where she runs her Treatment & Training Center.
Indigobell – AN ARTISAN RANGE OF ORGANIC BEAUTY PRODUCTS
Bettina has developed her own artisan product-line 'Indigobell' which she uses in treatments and sells exclusively to her clientele and training students. The Indigobell range is created in harmony with the environment using organic ingredients and is prepared onsite by Bettina herself in collaboration with a local artisan distiller. These handcrafted natural products can also be specifically branded to a personalised range.
Bettina approaches her clients as individuals, focussing on each person's specific issues and needs and taking a holistic approach to every therapy.

PHILOSOPHY AND ETHICS
Bettina takes on a holistic approach to all her work,looking at the whole well-being and the specific needs of each individual client before advising and choosing on the most beneficial treatment for them. She loves to mix personalized aromatherapy treatments, using her own recipes, for a healthy uplifting and balancing ones state of mind. For physical exhaustion or muscle tension, lymphatic drainage for heavy legs or cellulite treatments. Massage and Reflexology helps resolve and relieve the body via the energy meridians.
The traditional Mediterranean village of Alaro is located at the foothills of Mallorca's famous Sierra Tramuntana mountain range (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It takes approximately 20 minutes by car from Palma in the direction of Inca/Alcudia. A regular train service runs from Palma to Consell where a connecting bus drives passengers to and from the village of Alaro. The dramamtic mountain scenery surrounds the village and there are many wonderful walks to Orient and the famous Alaro castle, to name a few. Mountain biking and mountain road cycle training is also popular in this area.
Alaro's close-knit community, is transient and multi-cultural, bringing a global variety of philosophies, healing and body work, contemporary art and an ecological restaurant. At hand are Tibetan Singing bowl healings, Indian Yogi's, Sacral Cranial work, Sound Relaxation and lively local music. Every Saturday morning in the Placa is an open-air market selling fruit and vegetables, locally grown organic produce, clothes, jewellery and plants and flowers. Alaro has on offer a variety of restaurants and bars to everyone's taste.
